EMP, locally-recognized as a leader in positive-impact Vermont events (Burlington Yoga Conference and the Liberate Music & Yoga Festival), continues to offer the best mix of music with locally-established yoga teachers and studios, as well as bringing internationally renowned instructors and performers to Vermont.
The 4th annual Burlington Yoga Conference Spring will be held at the Davis Center, UVM, on May 5th & 6th. This year’s BYCspring features the Liberate Spring Gathering.
The Liberate Spring Gathering brings a taste of EMP’s summer music festival to the Davis Center and features sounds from revered world music producer Eccodek. Catch inspiring performances from the Leader of the worldwide Hoopdance Movement; Shakti Sunfire, yoga driven grooves from DJ HyFi, a demonstration from AcroYoga VT, and much more.
This portion of the Burlington Yoga Conference promises to unite people with the power of music and dance as does EMP’s flagship festival, Liberate. Liberate was first launched in Vermont in 2008 and steadily grew in size and scope to become a summer tradition for Vermont residents and fans from coast to coast.
EMP remains committed to world-class events at affordable prices and to its grass roots beginnings. Though EMP will not be hosting a Liberate Festival in 2012, (family land being sold), there are smaller more intimate yoga and music events in the work under the Liberate umbrella.
